Awesome Vintage Cartoons: King Neptune

This Disney short has everything you could ever want in a cartoon. That is, it has a creepy looking topless mermaid saved from drunken rape-happy pirates by an army of fish and one especially violent octopus.

Awesome Vintage Cartoons: Balloon Land!

Over the coming weeks I'm going to be linking to some of my favorite theatrical cartoons - some of them fit the spooky tone of Bogleech, some of them are just plain adorable, and all of them are positively gorgeous works of art, with more heart and soul poured into every second than most modern television cartoons ever achieve in their entire run. First up? BALLOON LAND! A portion of this cartoon was once presented by none other than his Royal Majesty, The KING of Cartoons, on the venerable Pee Wee's Playhouse.
