Magic: The Gathering - Mark Nelson's parasites

I thought I'd show these two together, since they're both Black Horrors, they're both parasites, they're both from the "Urza's Saga" expansion set and they share the same illustrator, Mark Nelson. The Dark Hatchling, which has the "flying" ability, allows you to destroy an opponent's creature when it comes into play, while the Spined Fluke, which has the "regenerate" ability (allowing it to repeatedly cheat death) requires you to sacrifice one of your creatures to play it.

I find the Spined Fluke a lot cooler looking, really, and a lot more conceptually interesting. How often do you see FLUKE monsters in anything? There's the Flukeman from The X-Files, and then there's this one magic card. That's pretty much it, unless they throw a liver fluke into Pokemon like I've always hoped...
