New Pokemon English Names
There's a leak going around of all the "Black & White" pokemon names as they will supposedly appear in the English translation, and a lot of them are just delightful.
- Galvantula. Galvanized tarantula. How awesome is that?
- Eelektross. Kind of obvious, really...I might have gone with Lampire.
- ELGYEM and BEHEEYEM...in other words, LGM (little green man) and BEM (bug eyed monsters!)
- Krookodile. Absolutely adorable.
- AMOONGUS. It evolves from FOONGUS. Oh my god.
- Trubbish and Garbodor :D ....I will miss Dasutodasu, though, after figuring out that it's a distortion of "dust to dust."

I too will miss Dasutodasu. Garbodor is pretty nice though. And Krookodile. Got to love it.

Even though the critter itself is just another overpowered dragon type, I think they did a great job with the name Haxorus for Ononokusu. Continuing the "axe" theme of its pre-evolutions, it's a great portmanteau of "hacksaw" and "-saurus" while also intimating that he is a 1337 haxx0r. Brilliant.
Amoongus and Unfezant are easily tied for the funniest Pokemon name EVER. REALLY like the names of the dark/dragon trio as well, especially the middle form which is my personal favorite. Zweilous. ZWEILOUSSS. So cool.
"Dust to dust" sounds really sinister for a garbage-bag monster.

out of all generations, this is my favourite one so far. the fourth one was pretty lame, but this is just epic.
there are so MANY Bugs, reptiles, bizarre stuff and so on, an archaeopteryx, a gamera- esque archelon, a vine snake and and and...
i cant believe there are so many people hating this and saying they lokk like digimon- they dont do at all.

Well I'M still calling him Dasutodasu, because I like dust references. I remember reading it was actually a double reference, dastuo meaning "dust" and dasu meaning to produce, in addition to it sounding like "dust to dust". Also, this episode dissapoints me since Yabakuron didn't evolve, but it has my hopes up for a future Dasutodasu apppearance!
Most of the US names are pretty bad, but they are at least funny, like "WOOBAT" (ZUBAT?) and "PALPATOAD" (PALPATINE?!). The worst names are "SAWK" and "THROH" (WTF?!) and "COFAGRIGUS". I refuse to call Deathkan that! Overall, the names are at LEAST better then Gen 4, since Gen 4 names just annoyed me, while these are just laughable in there awfulness.
